In the coming years, we intend to support the completion of roughly thirty structuring projects that will improve the quality of the tourism offer north of the 49th parallel.

The types of tourism projects that the Northern Incubator-Accelerator supports all fall within the Nature-Culture-Adventure sector, which is exactly where the northern territory’s strengths lie. They aim to: 

• Boost tourist traffic while respecting the community reception capacity; 

• Increase visitor spending;

• Attract more domestic and international visitors; and

• Adopt eco-friendly practices.

We will focus our efforts on the strategic aspects that are crucial to bringing a tourism project to fruition.

Entrepreneurs benefit from the expertise of specialists in their specific field and more generally in entrepreneurship, as well as from non-repayable funding. The service offer is divided into two parts:

1. Support Pathway (Start-up or Acceleration); and 

2. Funding.

For example, a specialist may be involved in a project to:

• Validate the concept with the target market;

• Develop the business plan;

• Write a go-to-market plan;

• Assist the entrepreneurs with completing the financial package.

Ultimately, the Northern Incubator-Accelerator aims to maximize its leverage impact by mitigating the risks for other investors. We offer a unique combination of expertise and support to help companies:

• Provide better services;

• Generate more volume; 

• Access new markets; and

• Attract major funders.
